Authority Forums

Authority Forums began life in 2004. The idea was to provide an index of forums and how big they were on specific topics such as TV shows or celebs so that when people wanted to discuss a specific topic they cound find the authority on that topic.

The site was on hiatus for several months as other projects were developed but the site was finally launched and began crawling regularly on July 17th, 2005.

Technology

The site uses a custom crawling script to collect stats from each of the forums each day. There is support for most of the major forum scripts and the ones that we currently don't support is simply because we don't have a forum that uses that script ;).

For Webmasters

If you own a forum on a topic we cover then submit it to us! Also once your listed, if you visit the forum's profile you will be able to get the code to show your rank on that particuar topic.
